Regarding the blinker... I see the blue/black wire going to the same pin as my diagrams... pin 8. Blue/black for LH turn is universal on Ferraris of this era. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login All that is required is an earth to illuminate the turn light. You only seem to have one wire which looks like an earth (pin 9). The high beam wiring looks ok, too. Green/black on pin 10. All that is required is an earth. Again, pin 9. All the other pins are accounted for. Regarding the F1 lights, the WSM diagram doesn't specifically say which pin is which function. So the 2, 11 & 13 pins could have any assignment. According to the WSM diagram, the power for the lamps is supplied by the car (not the F1 module) i.e. the "+15": Image Unavailable, Please Login Which wire/s on plug D supply the power is not known. Possibly pin 6 (green wire).
Next time I am in there we will re-connect and get to the bottom if it all! Thanks for all your help. Priceless.
Hi! im having trobubles with the roof of my spider, the hatch tends to turn at speeds (100kmh) and if youre no paying atention to hold it the roof just opens. Its so annoying because you just can not drive the fast hahah. How can i fix it? Is there any regulation? I think the hatch must be get locked and super tight and never move by itsleft i think… thanks
So you're saying that the handle moves away from the stowed position? There is a big spring in the latch mechanism, but I don't know if the latch relies solely on this. Unfortunately, if I remember correctly, the fabric has to be removed to access the latch mechanism Image Unavailable, Please Login Are the hooks engaging? Maybe try lubricating what is visible? The picture below is taken with the cloth top removed and the metal cover off. You might try and raise the top half way until it points straight up and see if you can access the metal cover to remove it and get at the spring. I'd try it now, but my car is up on the storage lift......
It depends on how old the fabric and glue is. Mine wasn't too difficult, but it's possible the fabric might warp or tear. But I don't know for sure if the spring would cause this. Is there any any spring action in the unlock handle? I haven't heard of springs breaking. I don't think the spring is under much stress. Image Unavailable, Please Login I've just noticed some wires under the balls at the end of the rods which go to the hooks. I'm wondering if these help the mechanism to latch in position. Anyway, I guess a general lubrication of the mechanism won't hurt. Does the roof sit properly in the holes in the top of the windshield? Note that even if you find broken parts, Ferrari doesn't sell components for this part of the roof mechanism.
Yes, the roof sits perfectly and stays locked, but for some reason with the wind the latch slowly starts to unlock and the roof sudenly opens…
