Curious how long it should take a competent shop to swap out mufflers to Capristo with X pipe. Trying to decide if worth keeping my aftermarket mufflers removing them annually before the warranty inspection. Thanks.

I don't think it takes 2 full days to do this. My shop I believe was able to do it in about 6 hours I think, but curious if that's about right.

    Definitely not 2 days.

Rear wheels, rear arches and undertrays off
Install silencers/x pipe (for the remote, if you're doing that, put the control unit under boot lining and wire through)
    Button back up

Silencers, x pipe and remote should be 6-7.5 labour hrs

It can probably be done in 4 hours for a tech who has done it before. But I would expect to be quoted 6-8 hours.

I agree however I’m referring to the typical situation of working on a few cars at once or testing it or taking breaks. It could easily be done in one day if dedicated but in my experience shops are not always just focused on my project alone when they acquire the vehicle. If this in reality takes 4 to 6 hours which I agree with the likelihood of definitely getting the car back that day could be questionable hence two days.
