    Ummmmmm.... Yeah.
"Batteries are already starting to permeate Ferrari’s lineup, with hybrids accounting for 43% of second-quarter deliveries."
What percentage of what's even offered are not battery hybrids? Except for the super-limited production Icona series, there's the 812, Roma (so far), and Purosang SUV (so far).
Not many unplugged choices, and if the dealer shenanigans are anything like trying to order a manual during the hard F1 push, lots of those sales are for positioning for something better/limited, not because that's what someone actually wants when they walk in the door.

At least Ferrari is renowned for their gremlin and glitch-free electrical systems!!

I wonder if the CEO has driven a F40, F50, Speciale or Daytona to name but a few. The electric debate is perhaps a bit like 355 cambelts or wait for the the mighty wooden F50, I mean who could forget that or maybe I have been on this forum too long!

Ferrari needs to follow the current laws but they should keep ICE alive by focusing on synthetic fuels (owners will be able to afford it) + Hybrids (European laws + CA laws will likely be changed once the majority of people get angry). + no computer sounds allowed

You mean the real, old Daytona (365 GTB4) or the new fully automated one (SP3)?
Not everybody knows what a clutch is and even fewer have an idea how it should be used.

It is really sad, but in this environment car manufacturers have to convert to electric. If Ferrari did not, in 10 years the only thing they will have for sale is their fugly clothing.

Such a sad time to be alive: World governments pushing all automakers to move to EV and the average consumer, in the US, gravitating toward SUVs. This is not really a Ferrari problem. It is a problem with our governments. Automakers are just trying to stay in business.

    Yeah....no

C'mon guys, technology, customers and market dynamics are all changing, and one of the reasons I've been a loyal Ferrari customer is the first of these forces - from F430 to Scuderia, 488, Lusso, SF90 and eagerly waiting a PS - car to car I've loved the way Ferrari keeps pouring more tech into each model, making them more fun and interesting to drive. And great sports cars. Side bar - the new radical Multimatics on the PS sold me, watch the Fiorano track drive to get a sense of how flat the car is, it's a pool table racing around the track, and my test drive showed me it's way cool. V-12 from the 812, check, but it's those new motor-driven Multimatics that make the car for me.

So I think the most important announced innovation in E-cars - the one that's going to be the big leap forward that'll melt everybody's face - is MBZ and its 2025 G-wagon: an independent motor at every corner. Yeah Rivian's doing it, but MBZ is USING it to revolutionize the off-road vehicle, not with gears and shafts and all that other heavy stuff, but software and mind-bending torque. My bet is when Ferrari gets its first four-motor hyper car on the road, probably nice compact lightweight axial flux technology, and throws Multimatic tech and all its other suspension software at the car, it'll be in a class by itself.

Which brings up that pesky third force, market dynamics - if Ferrari doesn't do it, Elon will force it. And so will all the poseurs who want the first 1-second 0-60 car (think about how the four-wheel 959 changed the face of street high performance cars, at exotic prices). We're being sucked forward by these forces. Either Ferrari does it, or sticks with good ole' ICE and goes the way of...well, you get it. I can't wait to see the future at Ferrari, too exciting.

My dream was to own a stick shift Ferrari. You could offer me a 75% discount on a NEW EV Ferrari and I'd take my gas powered X5 over it as a DD. I will NEVER own an EV. Ever. Flip you and the horse you rode in on. Free marketplace should be FREE. Not one side forcing their ideologies onto ALL of us. Everyone is free to do what they want, but making all of us do what YOU want is tyranny. Not for me.

I should have stated correctly, 365 GTB/4. Sad because a manual Ferrari is one of the great driving joys.

Ferrari only care about making money, they try their best to convince the public that their EV's are special but i'm skeptical
it's going to need 1400hp+ to stay relevent too imo

I’m NEVER going to buy something I feel forced to buy due to artificial market manipulation. Tulips, EVs, 1980 silver…..same damn things.

Ferrari can go broke for all I care…..

what will happen is ferrari will be forced to sell out the brand because no one cares about sports car EV's, the brand name is so strong that there's so much money in producing cheaper cars for mass market. I think eventually their stock will suffer but just not for awhile
