Any thoughts? It's black screen no picture or color markings. The side and front cameras work fine. Just replaced the F12 battery. Stopped working when the old battery died.

I have the exact same issue with my car, haven't bothered to fix it yet, dealer was not able to diagnose it from what they could see without taking the car apart (didnt think it was a software issue.) They did quote 10k for new rear cam though

I hope you find an alternative solution.

My reverse camera operates intermittently. On another thread in Fchat a 458 owner mentioned that the rear camera connector had some corrosion on the pins causing signal loss. That's where I'll focus my attention when I have an opportunity.

I've had other issues with bad connectors, i.e. my seat heater used to flash that it was on, even when the switch was clearly off. The dealer initially diagnosed a faulty control module and replaced it for ~ $5k, but then the fault eventually returned. On the second try, they said there was a loose connector somewhere in the wiring harness which they corrected for no charge having purchased a control module that I didn't need. Sadly that issue resurfaced again last Saturday.

This is why I prefer independent mechanic over most dealerships. They just "replace" rather than try to "repair." It's less work (labor) and more profit (buying new parts). For example, when I bought my F12 I had a leak in the trunk. It was minor (as in it was always dry) in that you open the trunk water would magically seep through a panel. I brought it to Ferrari they go yup 3rd brake light. Paid and had it replaced. Didn't fix the problem. Brought it to independent mechanic. Found source elsewhere and fixed it for a fraction of the price. No leak now.

I'll probably bring the car to them but I figured I'd gather some ideas in here. There's no reason a camera is $10,000. It's a POS back up camera in terms of resolution and I'm sure it can be sourced elsewhere for a lot less if it required an entire new camera. Anyone know the make/model of the rear camera?

Came here to say that! Never have seen it on a F12. Only on 812 starting in 2020, and on models equipped with 360 cameras obviously.

I meant when you press the button to turn on the front camera it toggles from front view to a split side view. That works still.

I had an intermittent black screen when I press reverse they had to do a lot of work but in the end it was the ground wirings needing some kind of a simple fix. The go from the front of the car under the seats to the camera
