:) Trust me, exactly the same color (code). The question was: Is it worth it. This includes the parameter worthiness vs money. Usually money is limited, if not - well done in life and go for whatever you like. But seriously, for that amount of money I would go for a color nobody has.

my take on the Aluminium Opaco having seen pictures on the web (think was an 812) and speaking to my dealer is that it is almost too bright - like the car is unpainted aluminium or wrapped in silver foil … very bling if you like that sort of thing but not sure if it will age well :)

The thing with magma or colours close to it like fuoco is the sheer depth and when you do see them in real life whilst the ‘code’ may be the same the result is totally different

Thank you, this helpes me alot. And by the way, I think the Argento fits the Dino perfect and even better as a Grigio Titanio, with the 296 it is just vice versa :)

@Dino_Argento : Would you share your thoughts about your black calipers ? I like it very much, usually I would have thought about yellow or aluminium, but invisible (=black) is a good option

sure - I initially thought yellow callipers to complement the wheel centres and shields but I) they are different slightly shades of yellow so doesn’t work (I’m even wondering if I should have gone no shields); ii) it looks too busy and draws attention to the wheel centres (callipers are huge on this car) and away from the design of the wheel; and iii) the whole brightly coloured callipers thing seems a bit passé these days… personally I’ve always associated it with Porsche GT cars.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Partially I have the same, that's why I tend to order the painted shileds as their yellow fits to the yellow of the calipers and wheel centers. But still besides normal/painted shields I totally agree, that there is something unusal big especially to the front brakes. The look much larger and bold compared to my 488GTB. So I tend to leave them black (painted). Good to see that I am not alone with this "different yellows disaster" opinion :)

A purist would also argue that Scuderia shields only belong on racing cars :)
