Great to see 0806 again. I restored the car about 20 years ago, and it still looks great. It is a 196 SOHC engine. Great car to drive and sounds like a big-block Chevy, yet only two-liters.
Starting up it sounds like a load of revolving nuts and bolts in a cement mixer, I guess thats the external clutch. Once running this car is LOUD
My farther in law drove this car many years ago in US and shot the picture below. Number plate and serial number unknown. Anyone that knows the model? Thanks in advance. Best, Peter Image Unavailable, Please Login
I want it to be a sunroof because I want to help Peter solve this. Alas, on a second look I'm afraid it's just reflections on the roof.
Pleasant surprise this morning. Friend sends me pic of my 365 GTC\4 sn 16075, when she was for sale by 2 owners ago at the Lukas Huni stand in Essen Technoclassica 2014. Image Unavailable, Please Login
2561GT looking better than ever! Credits to Nicholas Kalikow on Instagram today (I’ll be interested to see what you experts have to say about the caption « competizione ») Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Steel body and Competizione engine with aluminium gearbox/slip differential, but I saw on Ferrari 60th anniversary catalogue that the engine was from a 250 GT Berlinetta that so the 12H of Reims, and I can’t find which engine it is!
