I guess they'll be a be few chardonnay socialist bitter hangovers this morning. The inner South East of Melbourne was a resounding "yes" I'm curious to know how these people are involved in the indigenous community. Image Unavailable, Please Login
For a brief shinijng moment the socialist machine is choking on reality. In a few days they'll be back at work, sheperding us towards renewable, gender+, traditional owner utopia. For now though, I'm loving the commentary, like this one: Significantly, the Referendum failed in every single state of Australia. Nationally it was 39.7% – Yes to 60.2% – No. The only Territory to vote Yes, was the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) the levitating bubble-land which voted 60% “Yes” in a country where every other constituency voted the opposite. Remarkably, the Northern Territory, which has by far the highest proportion of actual aboriginal people (30%) voted just as strongly against the Voice as all the other states did (62% voted No).
it’s so bizarre as the yes votes are mostly in the metro areas where they have the least idea of what’s going on in The rural communities. I blame media brain wash and woke movement.
The biggest % of indigenous voters being the NT @ 30% had one of the biggest "no" votes. I am also wondering when the CEO of Qantas will resign over their expensive virtue signalling effort, along with the other captains of industry that openly supported this farce.
Mundine going off, classic, left wing heads exploding everywhere https://x.com/tim_jbo/status/1713171333243420701?s=46
We've now had an entire generation educated under a curriculum written by the left, a version of events designed to shame and radicalise young people. It's not hard to see how this schooling motivates teenagers full of righteousness and rebellion, let alone those with indigenous ancestry. Fortunately, for most people the left influence fades as you gain life experience. Even the most successful gender studies graduates can't afford $4million for a roach infested terrace in Newtown, so they soon disperse into the mortgage belt suburbs, where worries about payments or career eventually supplant ideology. What's left behind in the inner cities are either renting students, or adults who never grew up.
WE can only hope that the Welcome to Country nonsense now stops at EVERY public event or Corp meeting -enough is enough !
Just yesterday, my wife had to attend an education day, all day, for critical care for the children in the hospital. Every lecture and speaker did the obligatory traditional owner recognition blurb, it got so pedestrian that even the two indigenous nurses sitting in front of my wife made comment. Surely once at the start makes the point.
Apparently not so Ian, according to the ABC: those who truly understood the voice are educated, cosmopolitan and globally minded and live in that flea infested hovwl in Newtown. The rest of us are bogans. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-10-15/nsw-votes-no-indigenous-voice-referendum-demographics-result/102976968
WTF-Over the Westgate bridge all flags flying at half mast-What an insult to 60% of the population that voted NO.
Ah yes, the scum who occupy local govt, elected in Clover Moore's case by the small proportion of city residents, not by the much larger number of tenants of commercial buildings. Clover represents the LGBTI "community", homeless people and of course the unionised employees of the city. Fortunately, the flags on our bridges are controlled by the state govt, who know that support for the radical left does not extend beyond Newtown or Darlinghurst.
