My 993TT has the same kind of factory mistake with the WPOZZZxxxxxx... Funny that companys like Ferrari or Porsche can commit that!
So how has this issue been managed over the years? We know that kind of mistakes result in more than a few headaches. What's the official VIN and was the mistake ever corrected?
The official VIN is ZFFCZ56B000128778, confirmed on the Ferrari lists, but the plate is wrongly stamped with a « 2 » instead of a « Z ». The VIN is stamped/engraved on other places on the car, that might be well done with no mistake.
Anyway still headaches possible if that particular VIN plate was never mended. I would dedicate efforts in that direction would I be one of the parties involved.

Thanks Joe, I was wondering about the material itself - is it that textured plastic or is it carbon fibre/kevlar of some sort? Haven't seen an Enzo up close for a while!
I gave my thoughts on the subject here www.ferrarichat.com here www.ferrarichat.com and here www.ferrarichat.com
This particular information is wrong! The car came with the standard sills, which is also confirmed through its build sheet. The original japanese owner added them later though...
Hey Mr. B. R. Which chassis number are we talking here? You can also reach me privately, you do have my details. Marcel Massini
Does anyone have a better photo of this Enzo since its carbon fiber rebody? Top photo (original yellow color) by A. Heber Photography. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Only a few photos have been published since its conversion, but I have something. [email protected] Jorge HG
I'd be interested to hear the conclusion of this, if possible (regarding whether the DK car had silver sills from the factory).
