    That is correct - if you saw in Ernie's thread (first few posts), he mentioned that the wheels had to be removed because he didn't have O2 sensor sockets, so he had no alternative but to remove the wheels to access with an open end wrench.

    The O2 socket eliminates the need to remove the wheels

    New O2 sensors did the trick.

    However I did need eventually new to replace the EPROMs in the Motronic ECUs with a fresh set.
