Very shortly after I bought my Speciale, the driver's side rear wheel started making a ticking noise in right hand corners at any speed over 50 km/h. The Ferrari garage here says the sound is being created by play between the titanium wheel bolts and the aluminium wheel and apparently its quite common. Also apparently the only fix is to replace the two back wheels and both sets of bolts which I would of course like to avoid. I bought the car as Ferrari approved and this started happening within 300-400 kilometers of my purchase.

Has anyone dealt with this? Any ideas on a fix?

Only extra noise I hear when turning is stuff sliding around under the metal flooring.

If the bolts are correctly tightened, how can you have any movement. Do the bolts have the 60 degree cones on them like a normal bolt

I don't think its really movement. Its almost like a cracking sound. The Lambo techs told me they have seen quite a bit of it as well between titanium and aluminium. I guess not as common as they think though since I seem to be the only one here with this issue.

I know on bmws the rotor hats and wheels make a ticking noise in corners

The fix is a very thin shim some sort of friction plate

    Its not a concern

    Happens on m cars

Yeah thats exactly what mine is doing. I don't particularly want to be putting shims in, but I also don't like the idea of swapping out perfectly good wheels - especially for 9K which is what I was quoted.
