Came back from a drive last week and after a dry spell of zero leaks, found another oil leak on the garage floor, the car that keeps giving) new oil gasket fitted, fingers crossed will know in a day or so
Glenn, Your brother Scott does some Engineering for us. When I saw your name, I thought you had to be related!
That's awesome! Thanks for the tip. I'm definitely going to do this. Did you use stainless steel rivnuts and screws?
For two once on the top, I used regular metal rivnut and for the back where it’s fiberglass, I used the aluminum rivnut.
What color is your car? If it's Dino Marrone Met, I know of two others here in Germany (Bavaria), one Carbed (Wifey's) Eye Surgeon), and the other Injected (Mine).
My A/C holding is out, but can always be improved. Can you provide a part name and link to where we can purchase the AC vent fan upgrade you recommend? Thanks
no, still leaking onto the garage floor, but good news I’ve tracked it down as gearbox oil now, so that should be an easy fix, famous last words. Will attack it this Saturday
Wow! I really like those bumpers. Such a huge improvement. Did you buy those bumpers or make them yourself? I am getting ready to wake up my Dino and just checked back into Fchat so it is possible I missed more posts if you detailed that project.
I made them myself. I have only posted a few pics of the project, haven't really detailed each step. How long has your Dino been asleep?
