FWIW - speaking with my dealer today (finalizing Roma Spyder spec), they proactively mentioned possibility of putting down a deposit for the "hypothetical 812 replacement in six months". Nothing earth shattering, just confirming/correlating to what has been said here previously by credible sources.
so true, would gladly take a car a foot (30cm) storter and 4-6 inches (10-15cm) narrower and 200-300 kg lighter than 100-150 HP in ANY car
First of all congratulations for your Ferrari the configuration is very beautiful and original. For next year schedule I have other info with the unveiling new 812 and hypercar. You say when hypercar unveiling ? Because for 2025 Ferrari concentrated for EV car for me is strange to unveiling hypercar and EV car same year? Thanks for sharing your experience
No day355 and others have stated this for some time now. 2024 F167 Mid year 2024 F250 There maybe some others to come in 2024 But that's what can be currently shared As for the (Roma Project) Condor-Man has been the only one to really share anything. Here and else where it is being kept very tight lipped which is very interesting. make of that what you will.
812 Successor is clear. Laferrari successor let's see.... It was also once said that there will be something new in the direction of the F8.
The shape is classic and organic, even with the disguises. The contours of the cofango opening are clearly visible in this prototype. I hope it has round taillights. It is present in this entire dynasty of front V12s since the 550 Maranello, and in the vast majority of classic Ferraris before as well. So it became a signature. The absence of this element, IMO, would be a break incompatible with the proposal of a pure Ferrari, as stated in that slide for 2024. But I think that the taillights, if they are not round, can look beautiful too, if they are very well integrated into the design. The taillights on the Daytona SP3 e na SF90 XX were excellent, very well integrated with the design proposal. On the 296, IMO, although the shape of the rear is beautiful, I find the taillights generic and unimpressive. The prototypes suggest a type of lightbar, however it could be a light installed as a disguise, or be separate brake lights. Credits in the photo. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 296 Challenge is said to be introduced yet in 2023. W/o electric support. Since the coming EU7 environmental regulatory (2025) for road vehicles will have widely softened emission restrictions most likely, manufacturers may gain some time to continue with their existing portfolio. It’s mainly the result of the insistence of Italy and France to ease pressure on developing the necessary technology. I hear from Porsche these days, that the launch of the 992.1successor (mild hybrid) is postponed by almost a year.
While I was earlier debating whether 120° V6 will fit to front (apparently it does), I have since changed my mind about the engine that the rumoured GT car to be launched besides F167 may have. I think it will be V8 hybrid after all. Why? 1) The front engined GT used to be a flagship. How do you separate the car from 296 GTB? The V6 is already highly tuned and there is currently not so much hp improvement left. 2) The car should be a traditional match for Lambo (i.e. Revuelto) 3) Wide angle V6 in the front may look a bit too small under the bonnet. 4) Customers may want a bit beefier engine in their grand tourer. 5) Given the Ferrari's strategy of more hybrids, I think hybrid fits well to GT car as a range extender.
in short-nothing in long- maybe we are geting 2 cars, sharing platform (or some bits) natural 812 replacement, NA v12 and second car, GT not sure about engine but not NA V12
For those slightly out of date the (GT)aka(Roma2) or as I call it a Roma Project. Which we have almost no details on at this time, Condor-Man say the Roma project car is coming before the f167 (812 replacement) and has some parts connected with the F167). However Know one, even day355 are able to talk or share much about this project (loose lips sinks ships point of the Roma project at Ferrari, or its to protect Roma Spider sales IMO). What day355 has confirm is the 812 replacement (F167) is N/A V12 and is coming mid 2024 and later in 2024 the (f250) (LaFerrari replacement)
Yeah yeah, using the app in a rush, when out is not a good look. By the time I got home and saw it, editing time had past.
