Had a chance today to drive the PS for the first time. One of the primary reasons I put in an order was the v12, having never owned one before. I was expecting a snarling beast kind of thing but it was tamer sounding than that. I've never driven the 812 so I don't have anything to compare it to but I'm wondering if I my expectation was off base.

You need to drive an 812. Totally different ethos. 812 is a hypercar in a GT body. PS is awesome but it's as much luxury car as it is super 4 seater.

    Suspension is not comfortable.
They would say unique, and I would say
    uncomfortable.

Yes you cantravel sitting in the back but it won’t be MB GLS or Cayenne for that matter.

The suspension is the best part of the Purosangue!

Maybe for driver. Not for passenger.

It lacks the capability of ironing out the rough surfaces.

    Too honest I would say.

That was not my take when I had a test drive recently and I had the dealer drive me for a little bit while I was in the front passenger seat- however- I did not try the rear seats. I was impressed- the spread of ability has never been wider on a Ferrari. It's a top notch luxury vehicle or it can be a convincing sports wagon (my term). It's not as in your face about its intentions as past 4 seaters- that's just what happens when you increase refinement. It is very refined and also very fun to throw around. A surprise is how quiet it is at lower RPMs- but- from mid RPMs onward, they've tuned the cabin so you can hear a considerable amount of engine noise- so its there when you want it. I really loved this. In my hour drive I found I liked sport mode for driving around everywhere, comfort suspension for slow and bumpy town roads, sport for twisty back roads, and medium for the highway, I think comfort manettino would be good for heavier traffic times. I think anyone getting one will be delighted.

I was surprised by how little luggage space it has, the rear seats are a fantastic size but, i could not load enough luggage in for a weekend away with the kids, this is the only downside for me, everything else seems excellent

Probably not really a family road trip car, more of a go out and maybe do some light shopping...

I see, well this would solve the issue. I have never transported luggage in this way so it didn't even cross my mind

Color Francy: We are considering Nero Purosangue with Dark Red Interior. However, we love Deep Red - any hints on a very dark blood red, maybe with a lighter leather?
