Lots of CMC collectors complaining about the black headlight cover edging and the inner recess silver not going out far enough.

I thing the black headlight trimming looks different then the normal chrome does. It still is a very good looking model.

    Firstly watch your tone John.

Secondly the first BBR Ferrari GTO's (the road versions) where initially all made without the Cavallino in the grill.... so you do yours.

And finally, I was glad to get rid of it and buy the CMC version.
Real metal as opposed to resin and have a value on the second hand market far, far higher then most BBR that flood the market with too many versions of the same model reducing their desirability.

I don't want to fill Gert's topic with our disagreements, so be happy with your CMC's. Greeting! :)

That's not the first road version, the road version BBR made had no stripes.

And the photo above proves my point.... no cavallino in the grill.

    well, its a personal choice.

I am a metal guy, but won't have both.
They are simply to big for my taste ;-)

Shape of both is not that great, have you ever stood next to a GTO, the rear of most models is to high.
Nose of the CMC is to flat and the BBR is to "boxy".

They are both very nice models, but both are not accurate.

The 250 GTO is one of the most difficult models to shape according to several makers..
In the old days mr.Ruf (amr) has made 5-6 different ones over time, and he had an additional problem.
To make the sides symetrical was allmost impossible before scanning and computers were introduced.
