The lawsuit is HIS side of the story. Let’s wait until Shreve has a chance to tell their side of the story.

I have an amazing AD that does not play any of these games. But tons of ADs do. HIS side is how they play the game at most ADs. I know nothing is Shreve but my hope is sanity returns and vendors actually appreciate customers that are willing to drop 150k on a watch. This is not limited to the watch world. Many car dealers also play this nonsense.

Really interesting article in the latest PP magazine. During LdM’s tenure, Ferrari approached Patek with the idea of presenting the owner of each new car with a special PP, and that’s how ref 5000 was born.

Wearing a Patek means you occasionally come across pictures of world leaders with the same watch as you. But hey...First World Problems.

Shopping for a 5270p lately. Debating trading in my 5270g but I don’t know if I want to be without it just to have the platinum. The thing that strikes me as bizarre though is how the aquanauts and nautilus watches sell for huge sums relative to their msrp while grand complications don’t, and to me the latter is far more rare and interesting. Anyone have some insight as to why that is?

    Instagram.

social media wannabes can appreciate what it takes to make a pc versus buying a rubber strap.

I've mentioned this before, the 5524 was on my wish/lust list ever since it came out, I was able to get the 5524G and now the 5524R. I think the 5524R is the better of the two. :)

I’m pleased to say it definitely has some scratches showing enjoyment every day. And ha ha you are good to spot that, the last time I didn’t wear it for a couple of days, when I wound it I went 12 hours too far forward and there’s no going back, so I need to let it run out and sit for a day then I can set to the proper time. That’s easier than starting to screw around with all the buttons to fix it.

Fabulous watch, a true grail! I only mentioned the 24 hr time because perhaps in your crazy busy life you may have not noticed it and you definitely don’t want to be making adjustments in the “unsafe” zone.

So I went in to my local AD recently who I have never dealt with and they told me I’d have to build a relationship from scratch by buying quartz watches and then they might allow me to buy some mechanical watches. Tough to believe that’s how Patek manage their clients.
