    Why won’t anyone post pics with the roof up?

    My slot is coming up either on this or next month’s call and I still can’t decide on black or color matched roof … and no one is helping me. :(

    What I haven't seen at all is a plain red rosso corsa 296 GTS with completely matte dark grey wheels and maybe black/red calipers. I don't like the forged rims, in some way too fuzzy, carbon fibre wheels look great, but I am afraid of damage, so I am still not sure about my configuration. Red car and yellow caliper feels in some way strange to me with a 296 (don't know why, I like it on other models). If anyone has this car (or knows someone) I would really appreciate this. :)

    So black roof has black a pillars/windshield frame and color matched roof automatically switches those to the paint choice?
    Or is it something you have to specify?

    Yes, with a GTS you choose either the black color roof, which will make "A" pillars automatically also black or everything is body color. "A" pillars are alway black with a GTB, and furthermore, if you see a GTB with black pillars and roof, the roof will be wrapped.

    The standard spec is for the screen surround and roof to be painted in your choice of colour for the car so you don't need to specify anything if you want the car to be a single, uniform colour. Option BIC2 is the contrast screen surround and roof panels in Nero DS.

    It's a PDF file that dealers have access to on the MODIS system. It's there to help customers so you should be able to get a copy covering your market from your dealer.

    Not sure what you mean by centre caps? But, I have no external carbon fibre. Wheels are matt grigio standard.

    He means the wheel centre badges. They don't fit those at the factory. They are placed in the car for the dealer to fit before delivery so in the photo your car has no centre caps fitted.
