    Hi All,

I would like to verify the original interior color on my 1984 308 QV (Euro). Is there a tag anywhere in the car which would indicate this?

    Thanks,

    Dan

Nothing on the car - if you are very lucky and register at myferrari eventually they might populate the section associated with the VIN with the original spec

We can verify if the present interior is authentic to your '84 Euro. Post up some pics.
What makes you think it may not be original?

Gently roll some of the piping on the seat and take a look at what's revealed. It should give you a good indication.
That's how I figured out mine when I went to replace it earlier this year.

I’ll post some pics shortly. The door panels and seat leathers show tan through the cracking in spots. I’m going to retrim the car, but want to do it in the correct color.

The cracking in the head rest looks like it may have been beige.

The arm rests on the doors come off easily. If those were not removed when it was dyed it will reveal the original color. Also I have had the surface dye stick to the back of the arm rests and that will show the original color.

The rear firewall and targa top interior roof would also indicate the original colour was tan/beige.

Excellent responses! I was hoping it was originally tan. I'll check the door panels and such. Thank you!
