styling -wise, i would not be surprised if incorporated elements from the recent KC23 launch...some past history seems to show one-off vehicle design elements can make thier way eventually into main-production vehicles.

ex: Reference the "SP30" from 2012... my (untrained) eye can see portofino side and almost certainly a Competezione carbon fiber hood band..

I know it won't happen but when I see this car I feel sad the direction Ferrari and other brands are taking. The cars are getting bigger heavier and with more aids because of that. I guess we all want cars for different things but I think the purity of the sports car is disappearing with Ferrari. Will be interesting to see what the 812 replacement is like but I don't hold out great hopes!

 

Its a super limited edition car that will also not be road legal in some locations. This is not really comparable to production supercars. which is Ferrari's road car market. Nor is it comparable to Ferrari's Race cars aka F1, 499P etc. Sadly cars like this and the Aston Martin Valkyrie have no future due to all the new laws. Some are focusing on the here and now and coming future others are taking a step side ways in a very small and limited time window.

 

A road legal production car getting that level of traction is not going to happen anytime soon lmao

 

As I understand it from GMA, their cars (T50, T33 and T33 spider) are/will be all homologated except I think for the T50s which, is a track car. They are road legal in the USA, UK, Europe, Asia etc. The crash testing was expensive which, may also account for a small part of the cost.

 

I think this going to be the best handling, front-mounted V12's yet. The suspension settings will probably be softer than 812 Competizione's as others have said and the chassis maybe the same but this car looks like it went on a diet even with all of the camo hiding the body. I've heard from other sources they did a slight tune to the software to help get a few extra horses while still being emissions compliant. Ferrari had this car up their sleeve since 812.

Predictable based on recent releases. Then it will be copied into the rest of the lineup and you'll be seeing it for a dozen years.

 

You only have to look at the Mac F1 to know that's not going to be quite the case.

 

If this is true then it is an almost perfect car ruined by another stupid carbon/glass/two-toned roof. Can't they just make it body colored by default? This is my main issue with manzoni and his team they always make something that is "slightly" crooked(try to look at pininfarina battista windows compared to laferrari, sf90 and 296; pininfarina battista's window shape is more cohesive and organic looking compared to the 3 ferraris that I mentioned).

A car with a different colored roof(together with A-pillar and C-pillar) means the design is not cohesive to look at and is hiding something in it.

 

Well you are right about T50 which is not legal in US due to triple seater layout, and camera side "mirrors", but most likely will be legal under Show Or Display.
As for T33 Gordon Murray has explicitly said that it will be homologated for US market.

Yeah kind of agree with you, they sometimes design baroque just for the sake of being baroque. At least it seems they're done with the fronts resembling F1 noses, maybe you agree with me on this...
