Hello Ft. Worth Ferrari Family. Both my Daughters go to TCU and I'm in CA. I do have a few car related questions. One drives a MBZ GLC 43 and the other a Land Rover Velar.
    1. Where is a good place to get their cars washed and or detailed. I don't mind express washes as long as their thorough, clean and good.
    2. A good mechanic/tech that is fairly honest and works on these type of vehicles. (where do the Ft. Worth locals go) I know there is a Land Rover dealer near by, But Mercedes is further away.
    3. Where to go for Tires and Brakes?

I appreciate any and all input. Thank you in advance.

University Car Wash is just down the road and can handle the washing and detailing. It's like a $25/wash type place - still a machine, but have people vacuum, wipe down, and they offer other services. Use my it for my wife's car, but hand wash my own ;)

I've taken my BMW to Tim's German Auto and have had good success there. There are a handful of other German specific mechanic shops around there.

Nothing fancy for tires - just Discount Tire or NTB, though I tend to order from Tire Rack and have them install. Brakes - sorry, do those myself!

Another car wash possibility is Cityview Car Wash near I-20 and Bryant Irvin Rd (also close to Hulen Mall and Target so they may already know the area). Discount Tire (this is my go-to tire place for my dailies) is just south of there still on Bryant Irvin as is the Mercedes dealer, Park Place Motorcars. Two independent Rover places are Fort Worth Rover and Cowtown Rover. Cowtown Rover is on West Vickery three blocks west of Montgomery and is fairly close to TCU. Fort Worth Rover is further west on Camp Bowie Blvd. For MB, Lone Star Bavarian services BMW, Mini, MB. They are also on West Vickery about two blocks east of Cowtown Rover. Also Nykaza Auto Repair on Camp Bowie West, west of Loop 820 on the west side of town. Having never owned a Land Rover or MB, I can't attest to the services provided by these guys but all have good reviews and long histories.

All these are a huge help. I really appreciate it. I will Google and next time I'm in Ft. Worth ill check them out (during my exploring the neighborhood drives).

University carwash is my go to, but earlier this week they were shutdown for "maintenance" it had to be the 3 days I was there.
So I scrambled to find another place. Found Prestine Express. I guess it was fine, but besides going thru the machine, EVERYTHING else, I had to do. Vacuum/wipe down/interior. I love doing that jind of stuff, but NOT in 110° weather.

If you are ever in a pinch, reach out, we can help too.
We're 30 minutes East of TCU, but we regularly help clients hours in each direction from us.
And I have technicians with MB and Land Rover back grounds
Just keep it in your back pocket, as needed.

The other options offered above work too!

Texas collector car storage. Www.txccs.com. Near I-35w and NE Loop 820 northeast of downtown. Or piston Haus www.petrolhaus.com on 377 north of I-20. (Started out petrol haus then changed names). West of the Hulen Mall area.
Never been to either of them so no direct opinion. You might also call Park Place Mercedes or Sewell Lexus on Bryant Irvin. Both have several buildings and might have storage available

There's one on North Las Vegas Trail & Loop 820 in White Settlement, never been over there & really don't know much about them.

    Here's a link to their company. www.motorplaceusa.com
