Wow great to hear. Happy for you. My 2023 is coming in the next month or so. So I can use this as an example. Hopefully the sticker is right for me.

So glad to hear this. Great work on behalf of all of us who are also waiting for incoming. Would you be OK to share with the dealership who was able to correct Ferrari on this? Please PM me if you'd like to keep private. Thanks!

My car has just finished production and is on the water with an anticipated delivery in January 2024, which is fine by me since I am on the East Coast and in the middle of hopefully a very mild winter. Not sure if it is considered a late 2023 or 2024 production. @Jgilchrist will PM you for more details in terms of what happened. Thanks in advance for sharing the resolution. My car sat at the port almost 2 months before it was delivered to the dealer last week and with the holidays I am sure this will slow things down further going forward.

I originally wanted Rosso Magma, and had a hard time choosing between Magma and Maranello.

Evidently Magma was not available when I went to finalize my spec so the final decision was easy - Maranello.

Both are great reds with a lot of sparkle.

My car finished production October 6th and is still in Italy. Never did get the final production picture. At this point if it arrives in the spring that’s fine. Can’t drive it in the snow!!

So strange. My guess is that my car went into production in October, was complete in November, and on the water shortly thereafter. My dealer is expecting the car in December and told me to anticipate picking it up in January. And I was pushing to pick up no earlier than February!

Maranello doesn’t really sparkle. magma sparkles, but if I had to choose between the two again, having had both, I’d go Maranello. It’s very special. It looks wet in the sun and is very smooth and unique. Doesn’t look great in shade, but so worth it for when the sun hits certain panels at the right angle.

I agree. I've spent a solid amount of time with both. I'd say it as Magma being a bit more dynamic and a bit more of a "show car" color- Maranello is just a little bit more "mature" of a color- but - they are very close. Magma has more salmon visible at some angles under bright light and has a little more of that metallic flake/ sparkle. Both can look either "candy apple red" in bright light, to what I'd describe as dark red wine color in the shadows. I don't think you will regret going with either color- when you see it, you will say it's so special. As it should be.

Yes, I agree on the salmon, which is my main knock against Magma. It's very dynamic and interesting, but the cherry overtones of the Maranello take on a unique magenta/violet hue. I miss that.

I never would have guessed this.

I need to get reacquainted with Maranello.

There is always the fact we see colors slightly differently. It's also dependent on the shape and scale of the object and how the light comes off it.

These are a few photos from when I was looking at various reds. I was interested in a "candy apple red".

Obviously, my photos do not do the colors justice - too many shadows, etc.

From Left to Right - - Rosso Maranello, Rosso Fuoco, Rubino Micalizzato, and Rosso Fiorrano.

This car below is Rosso Magma. You can see some orange/copper tones in the red.

This is Rosso Maranello in the sun - the car shape. I THINK the color behind the car shape is Rosso Fuoco - not 100% sure.

My opinion - in the sun light Rosso Maranello is just brilliant. I have seen photos on the internet of Rosso Maranello in more of a shady light/environment and the color does appear to change to more of a darker hue/tone. I will know exactly when my car arrives and will be happy to post some high resolution photos.

    This I agree with.

I had a Gulf Blue 73 RS and it was explained to me that Gulf Blue had red it in. After that, I actually could see it.
