Hi everyone, I scratched one of my Ferrari 458 rims. 458. It looks like just the clear coat. Anyone know of a reliable shop in the Houston, Tx area to that refinish it? Thanks.

I cannot help in the Houston area but my 458 Spider had a small area of curb rash that I wanted corrected. My local Ferrari dealer had a fellow who repaired wheels and he did an amazing job. Price a few years ago was $175. I could be not happier.

I just got a great rim job from my buddy. He's got 10+ years of experience doing rims jobs exclusively. PM me if you're interested I'm sure he can hook you up.

Whatever you do don’t google “rim job” and don’t say you got a great one from your buddy

I was going to comment when I first saw it but then I decided I was pretty sure he was kidding and trying to make a joke ...... I hope.

I think it’s Canadian lingo. Likely more mature than us folks south of the border

Actually yeah, that makes perfect sense. You’re right. I have many Canadian friends… USA is like the inner city and Canada is the suburbs. They definitely have more class and less of a dirty, infantile mind than we do. :)

If in Houston, then take it to Ferrari of Houston. I am in Austin and scuffed a rim and it was tough to find someone I knew could match because Ferrari doesn’t release the paint codes for the wheels. So I drove it down to Ferrari of Houston and It came out a perfect match. Apparently Ferrari of Houston is 1 of 2 places in the US that is Ferrari certified for paint and frame repair (or at least that was true at the time)

And it didn’t cost much more than the other rim repair places I looked at
