Note if you go Atelier you can get custom Rosso TRS paint which is basically metallic Rosso Corsa.

Rosso TRS is not metallic. It is a 4 layer mica paint.

    Rosso Imola is amazing.

The real difference for me is the curves and how “flat” paints lose them in this model more than others

My previous Ferrari F8 was Rosso Scuderia and that color looked much better than my friend’s Corsa side by side. Personally, Corsa made it look „older”. Now, my 812 is Corsa and it is what it is. Also, I find pictures a bit confusing, as all the „side by sides” I have of Scuderia and Corsa are almost indistinguishable.

As far as both being dull, I think plain colors contrast better with black accents (I like „aggressive looks”) so if that’s the look you’re going for, it’s a good choice. For more classic/elegant looks, 3 layer paint would definitely look better.

Here’s a pic of Imola I took a few days ago. I didn’t like it initially because of the orange undertones but it grew on me. I know lots of people don’t like the AF stripe but I think the contrast with the silver compliments the color.
