The 296 GTS Picture Thread

Did you have to go through Atelier or Tailor Made to get Rosso Magma? What’s the cost? I like the Rosso Imola but your Magma photo looks spectacular. Can’t wait to see it in sun and shade.

 

I'd love Rosso Magma. I actually emailed my dealer I never heard back. I'm in no rush with Z06 coming in.

 

Was able to pick Rosso Magma via local dealer. It's priced at the 3/4 layer paint category, so I presume what ever that will be for the country. I spent hours researching colours but am very happy with how this now looks.

The other colour I considered were Rosso Fuoco and Rosso Marranello.

Lebby, thanks for the feedback on the colour , I am trying to narrow down my colour choice between fuoco and magma, on a GTS, Imola just does not excite me . I am a ‘24 build .
When you get your car it would be great to see some pics outside.
You are hoping for Christmas that may well be tight if you are in Australia as your profile indicates . A friend who had pics in July in Aust got his car 3 weeks ago . The dealer will no doubt have a good handle on it once it is on a vessel. I hope it is a quick transit for you .

 

Same with me about Imola. Nice colour but a few around now. To make it work price wise I gave up the Nero roof and tricolare highlights and stitching, no regrets there as the colour makes the car a show case.

I'm hearing mixed results about delivery timing from last production photo, it ranges from 2 weeks to 8 weeks. All I know for sure is that I was on status 85 over a week ago. I can only hope

 

Beautiful color. Center caps means the "plastic" that sits in the center of the wheel. Mostly it is yellow plastic with the pranking horse. Your car looks like if these caps are missing right now or that they are black/carbon fibre

Its Blu Corsa, love the color, have it on my 812 GTS

 

Beautiful since day one when they showcased Blu Corsa as an 'intro' paint color! As if there was any doubt it also looked wonderful on the 296 GTS in the Italian sunshine...

That could be the best color out there. Love the inside colors.

 

That is a great color. What does ferrari call it. Looks like the old Gulf Blue.

 

I bet that color in real life would be amazing. Good going.

Wow a model that arrived before the car, I normally have to wait anywhere from 1 to 10 months!

 

If you are referring to my post of the BBR 296 GTS model, I purchased that. It is not from Ferrari.

hello,
im really enjoying this thread, lots of good comments.
so indulge me to horn in to ask your collective opinion re my c8 build specs. the corvette configurator shows racing stripes of one design but built cars are showing up with a modified design.
your thoughts on which style looks best would be appreciated.
the configurator shows a thin silver border around the entire stripe whereas the actual stripe shows a thicker silver border around part of the stripe.
btw. color is very similar to Imola i think.

Consistently thin, sort of reminds me of the Scud stripe. The other way looks a bit awkward.

 

No stripe looks very clean and doesn't distract from the subtle design details...
