As the others have mentioned here, 50-60€ sounds reasonable. I definitely buy a copy or two.

If I compare the number of pages of the books on Enzo Ferrari already written by Luca Dal Monte by looking on the Amazon website (Ferrari rex, 672 pages, Ferrari power, politics and the making of an automotive empire, 968 pages), you can bet that the next title to be published next February which has 528 pages ( The definitive biography of an icon) will be different from the previous ones. Otherwise, what's the point of making a book identical to the previous ones with fewer pages?

Great book. Very happy with my Larsen Figoni Alfa book and it’s waiting for a copy of the next Larsen Figoni book on Bugatti to join it on the book shelf.

Correct. What’s the point? Has enough new information been discovered and written in the five years since the first book was published to fill 500 pages? It seems unlikely. Perhaps it’s more likely that this is a revised version of the first book, at a steep reduction in price, as a promotional vehicle for the Apple TV documentary. Until the publisher provides a more comprehensive description of the book I’m skeptical that it’ll offer much in the way of new information.

Just 276 pages appears to be very thin to tell the whole De Tomaso story ...

Why? Because formatting changes and relatively minor content additions/deletions can easily change page counts. Plus, after Luca Dal Monte spent years of his life writing one Enzo Ferrari book, do you really think he is going to write another completely different one and not make that point very clear to one and all? The sensible thing, especially in light of the upcoming Ferrari film release, is to assume that it is a timely repackaging and rerelease of his previous work.

We had a presentation given by Luigi Chinetti Jr at the end-of-year week-end of the french FOC; about 150 interesting archives about Luigi Chinetti Sr's entire life were shown. Apparently, thousands of documents have been gathered, and Luigi Chinetti Jr seemed confident that a book will be released about one year from now...

I would not recommend that anyone holds their breath waiting for that to happen. But... if it actually does come to fruition at some point, then I'll buy a copy.

Here is just the introduction slide - since (as I understand) most documents shown had never been released, we were specifically asked to not take pictures in order to preserve their exclusivity.
