    Not totally finalized yet but it’s looking like I’m moving from an F12 to an F8.

    I know, generally not the move that most make but I’ve enjoyed 2 wonderful years with the F12 and want to experience something different. The F12 was my first ever Ferrari and I’ve never owned a mid-engine variant, which I really want to try. The styling, seating position, and visibility out of the F8 also cater to me a bit more. I know I’ll miss the noise but I just never could fully gel with the perceived size and steering of the V12 monster. She will be missed but eventually I’ll get another V12.

    The F8 I have my eyes on is pretty much my perfect spec especially on the interior but is missing some exterior carbon. Who do you all recommend for carbon that matches Ferrari’s weave? Also does anyone know if it’s possible to source and replace the color of the tach?
    Other additions I’m thinking are Fabspeed x-pipe and Novitec lowering springs.

    Keep the F12 and buy the F8. I have both and amazing combination.

    Not enough time also have a GT3 and drive 1-2x per week max

    Yeah I generally like the Stock+ look so that will be the extent of the mods outside of few carbon pieces.

    If I recall you have the fabspeed xpipe. Sound suitable for you?

    I had a yellow tach on my 458 on decided to go with black on my F8

    I prefer black due to contrast/readability but I hear you. Did a quick scan on FChat and seems like changing the tach will likely be quite labor-intensive.

    WOW thanks for that pic! Black actually looks amazing. My F12 has yellow and it’s basically useless to read from

    Yes, the improvement in exhaust note is quite pleasing. No CEL, easy install and easily reversible. Fab speed was supposed to post a few sound clips but not sure they ever did.

    The use of spacers is optional. I chose 10/15mm f/r along with Ti lug bolts. In combination with a lower stance, the spacers/lug bolts made a significant impovement in the car's appearance.

    Dave is a great guy. He’ll shoot you straight on the weave match. I have ECG CF sills and engine cover release and they match the factory weave perfectly.

    Car is finally here and first impressions (in the 500 feet I drove it) are favorable. Love the visibility out the front and feeling of sitting on the front bumper and steering is vastly improved over the F12. Will have more driving impressions over the weekend and probably start a separate thread but some pics for now:
