So Thursday I test drove the Purosangue at my dealership. Unfortunately there just weren’t the right roads around the dealership to really do the test ride I would have liked. I needed a weekend test drive, but the car had to move along on Friday. Overall I had a favorable impression of the car. From a looks standpoint I know someone posted here a photo of a Mazda SUV and noted similarities. However, when you see the car in the flesh, it could never, ever, be mistaken for a Mazda. From the limited drive I had the car handled well and obviously had ample power. The controls resembled the Roma except that they seemed even more extensive and complicated. But that’s the kind of thing after driving the car for a week everything becomes familar to operate. The car doesn’t appear to be that much higher than my FF (pictured with the test car), but I really felt like I was sitting way up high. That would be the main reason I wouldn’t buy one. That seat height just didn't feel comfortable. However, my wife absolutely loved the car. She found it much easier to get in and out of compared to my FF or my 612. She loved the interior, and she loved that it was a 4 door (except for her first car, she has always owned a 4 door car). So in other words, down the road there may be a Purosangue in our driveway! Thats absolutely brilliant! How did I not think of that?? I’m canceling my Puro order ASAP. Thanks, man!
Saw an Opaco car at our dealer the other day. First time for me to see it in the flesh and it happened to be in the unusual colour we ordered! I was really impressed and took a few photos to try and show the fantastic surfacing on this car. It really is a beautiful job they have done here in my view. And by the way, I’m definitely a shields guy, the bigger the better on this car. Wouldn’t think of doing one without like many have but that’s only me.
