Trying to get a gauge on what % of people have Michelin or Bridgestone tyres on their 296.

Both my GTB and GTS both have Bridgestone tyres.

What tyre did yours come with ?

Admin can we do a poll ?

Where were you able to spec the tyre? Or did your dealer have to request the factory for them?

It’s on the order sheet. Apparently it’s more of a request so they may not be able to accommodate at the time the cars ready to ship but I did it on my Roma as well and it shipped with Michelins. Less concerned about the Bridgestones but I hate Pirellis. I’ll switch to track tires soon enough anyway but might as well try.

You are not in the US right?

In the US the option is over $5k and the tires cost about $2k, so the option makes no sense.

$2.3k + installation. Ferrari tire tech with CF wheels would have charged a decent amount to swap.

I wasn't interested in playing games with tires the moment my car hit the dealership.

I was already going to wait 7 days for the Xpel wrap + ceramic.

I'm at 9000km and they're already gone. Although I tend to have a little too much fun around every corner. Also tracked it for ~7 laps.

I was given a choice, dealer recommended Michelin and I too wanted it so chose Michelins. No complaints, excellent tires.

Bridgestones on my GTS. I would have preferred Michelins but I’m pleasantly surprised by the Bridgestones, especially in the wet.

Agreed, planned to swap the bridgestones right away but was pleasantly surprised by the performance. But still
    1- Michelin
    2- Bridgestone
    3- Everything else
    4- Pirelli

I couldn't disagree more. The Pirelli is the best tyre, once it is warm.

Not to get into a tire discussion rabbit hole but I didn’t like PS4S on my 765 and switched to a continental extreme contact. Big difference. Much better.

I like Pirelli as a manufacturer, but find the compound is no where near the grip level of Michelin.

Warm Michelin’s on a sunny day give an insane amount of grip.

I haven’t really pushed the 296 on Bridgestones to sat either way.

The Michelins look so much better on the side wall also from an aesthetic point of view.
