    Well if you have the money to buy it you have the money to paint it. And a discount should be applied for non original colors.... Clearly the man doesn't care anyway....

    Understandable to me. I actually like open headlight Californa Spiders (LWB or SWB) which are usually less desirable, but with other cars on the market in correct colors and more desirable closed headlight spec, I would think several times before paying lots of money on a car altered by a previous owner who won't want to price it correctly regardless.

    I was lucky enough to sat on the driver’s seat of one of his 250 GT California 3 years ago, and take some pictures as well… I agree, his collection is not 100% Classiche certified, but he enjoys his cars and that’s what matters !
