A very good friend (many thanks to him;)) shows me the entry list : Ferrari 2560 #51 was entered by Achille Stazzi in classe oltre 2.000 cc.

#51 Achille Stazzi (thanks to your info)
    #52 Franco Cornacchia
    #53 Luigi Piotti

    2000 cc
    #24 Giulio Musitelli

but until to your posts yesterday I was unaware of #51 Stazzi and might have missed others as well.

Neither did I claim you did, but it is noteworthy that 0251/EU is a completely different design and this observation is crucial when trying to identify the car correctly with incomplete information.

Rear body, trunk lid, rear fenders, doors, side decoration, grille, bonnet... everything is different! In a nutshell one could say these cars only share the same glass house.

This is significant because it clearly proves the mystery car is connected to the evolutionary development of 0223/EU-0239/EU-0243/EU, meanwhile 0251/EU looks like a completely separate design only utilizing the glass house of earlier designs for the obvious reason that they picked what they had in stock not wanting to delay the completion by changing it. Lead time for new glassware was weeks, maybe months.

Achille Stazzi makes perfect sense, receiving 0241/EU (?) would also explain why he so quickly flipped 0237/EU to Cormancchia/Gerini.

It seems obvious that Piotti with 0111/ES did not start/arrive.

Compare the design of 0251EU with 0232AL. Even one is a convertible, it’s quite similar...

There you go - also missed the entry of Bruno Mangano. Never heard of him (so zero entries in my personal database) but according to racingsportscars.com he entered in at least 3 Mille Miglias (with Lancia and Fiat).
