It was a local car to me (10km away) until a few of years ago, when the long term owner sold.

Picture 2: I am wondering where this luggage set comes from… I don’t think there was any Schedoni set for Dinos.

In the day, when baggage handlers were extremely polite, and careful with your luggage,
leather suitcases were the norm. American Tourister, specially in Baby Blue, was seen as the downfall of civilization :)

This a beautiful set, made by one on many leather specialists in Italy.
I still have one lovely suitcase that used to belong to my grandmother, handmade and color to her specs. Great times!

    Happy Holidays!

    Regards, Alberto

I was going through some old photos and found one from the winter of '86.

For many years I always had my Dino, a 911, and a 356 in my fleet- along with a few motorcycles.

My insurance company would not cover a turbo so I could not buy one. In 1985 I went with a friend to pick up his 944 Turbo at the factory. I saw that the factory was offering the M491 Turbo Look option which spurred me to buy one.

While I preferred the coupe I always bought a Targa because when you remove the top and the passenger's seat you can haul a surprising variety of stuff --like 8' 2x4s, small pieces of furniture, and entire 911 motors or transaxles.

I bought my first 911 in '72 when I got out of college. My next in '75 was a Carrara Targa with the sugar scoop (you got both the sugar scoop and the plan motor lid), the side script, and the 911 "Safety 911" numbers down the hood. My third in '86 was the '85 Turbo Look 911.

The 911's are long gone. I still own one 356 cab and my Dino which I bought in 1974.

Very cool. A classic 911 is a small car, but it looks humongous next to your Dino.

So are all the thumbs up's for the Dino, the woman or the wild pants she's wearing?
