Pirelli are garbage tires, they always need a ton more balancing weight than Michelins and the 'grip level' is not even close!

I have been using "Michelin Cup 2R's" and "Cup 2's" for a number of years and there is no comparison to a 'P Zero Trofeo R' or 'P Zero Corsa'.

Sorry, beg to differ. The Pirellis need more heat, but they have superior grip when they get warm. The Michelins are done after a few laps, due to thermal degradation. It's the trade off between quick warm up and durability. The Trofeos turned better laptimes than the Cup 2s and so do the new Trofeo RSs against the Cup 2 Rs.

Nope. Probably 1% track and 99% asphalt roads that are smooth, well maintained, curvy, and in the countryside on a dry warm day. I love cup 2r with some heat in them on public roads near me.

I'm from the middle east. I live in heat. My tires are often 35C when "cold", 55C during normal driving. Pirelli's are still crap, I'm not buying the "they just need more heat" ******** I keep hearing.
