These are just 3 examples of the same car with little or no changes that sold 2 years ago, 1 year ago and 8 months ago and all three failed to sell or even make what the previous buyer paid. The F1 car with accident was an F1 car with an accident 8 months ago when it cost the buyer near or more than $78k with fees and shipping. These are 3 cars that buyers are saying aren't worth what the current owner paid, nothing more nothing less. Obviously, given RNM, the owners expectations weren't in line with the buyers. If you want to blame dirty wheels on the black car, fine, but real buyers can see past that. Now in 2 days we can see what the repainted spider does. It was for sale for $119,950 Oct, 2023. I'll be happy to post the result whatever it is.

I can agree owner's expectations aren't in line with buyers', but that's really the only conclusion that can be drawn. People aren't interested in bidding confidently online on a box of mysteries. These cars are at the bottom of the 355 spectrum.

So when the top 355's are doing well you say, "well those are the best 355's and not representative of the avg 355 market," but when there's effectively no change in the worst 355's, suddenly that's a reflection of the entire 355 market?

It's not about where in the market they lie. It's that they previously sold and at this time buyers won't pay what the current owners paid in the past, while the cars are essentially unchanged. Nothing more, nothing less. It's an apples to apples comparison regardless of where they were in the barrel.

It's surprising (to me at least) that BaT agreed to a reserve higher than the '21 sale price. The seller definitely didn't do himself any favors with presentation and poor responses.
This was a very nice driver quality car that was just down the road from me on the original sale (Ashburn, VA). Reportedly it was a personal car of the owner of an well regarded exotic independent mechanic shop in our area.

Except one was bid to $4500 more than it did 8 months ago. All were in line, within a few thousand plus or minus, so it's saying the market has flattened out to me, not going down.

People that bought as an investment in the last year are probably not happy, and for that I'm happy as they're ruining the hobby. I hope they go down 10-20k and hold flat for a while so the investors can dump them at a small loss and enthusiasts can buy them again.

I inspected the car for a potential buyer who didn't go through with deal. Was not the car for their collection. I also have a '95 GTB #100298, so I don't need two.

One and only one bid. When I $109,500 that was all the money for this car BAT deleted my comment. I have to wonder if the bidder will close the sale. He bid the same money on the black 97 "B" and never raised it and his history shows he made only one other (low) bid on a 3 series back in 2019. If he does, IMO, here over bid. (OK Ken. Let me have it. :D)

My first thought and given the comments here, I think we are not alone in that idea.

The exterior and interior color combo might not be for everyone, but I think this is the finest 1995 U.S Spec F355 Berlinetta being offered in the last 10-15 years.

My opinion is the rare and unique color combo should command a premium over Rosso Corsa, but of course, that is only my opinion. We know the market can’t get enough of Rosso Corsa and neither can I, but if someone is looking for something a bit different from the norm, yet still attractive, the opportunity is extremely limited.

Was just looking at that. All I can say is Merry Christmas. Nero Carbonio Metallic over red. 10k miles. Only a couple of minor issues I see in picts. Love it. Based on my analysis I would put this in the $200k -$250k range if the market holds up. Should definitely have some serious bidders so no telling where it could go above that. No mention of last major. Who cares. :) Just read the comments. I see other agree. And I think we agree on this one. ;)

Is this the same car that reportedly sold, in private, for a hair over $300k a little over a year ago?

I reeeeeeeally wanted a 355 but the 360 was soooooooooooooooooooo much cheaper LOL. So, I bought a 360 and am restoring it and will still be in it for far less than a 355. Not as sexy, though.

Different enough. The metallic makes it look the same shade as carbon fiber in a lighted environment, but should appear black in shade.

Knowing what I know, reserve on this car should be $200k. High chance this car sells and goes to a new owner.

The only other Carbonio 355 I've seen recently was listed on Stradale Vintage Cars.
