Wow, it’s actually good for the OP this was a write off. Who would want a car that’s been in an accident like that? The 720 should be a lot of fun, I’ve seen a fair number on track and at C&Cs. Fast and a much different car than the F12, there’s actually little in comparison. It appears I’m going Porsche for my next track car……992 Cup if the deal works out.
Well someone did buy it. I was watching the auction I don't know the final price. It'll either get stripped down or built back up again. Time will tell. As for the 992 Turbo S thing. I did check one out friend owns a 2022 or 2023 992 Turbo S. Took me for one spirited drive and then threw me the keys. I think at $150,000 it would be an awesome car. At $250,000 absolutely no thanks. If you wanted the car to be your one "do it all" daily driver I think the 992 Turbo S is awesome. If it's your 3rd (or extra) car I think it's silly to have there's way more exotic and engaging cars out there. As for the sound the F12 V12 will be missed but with a Ryft exhaust man that 720S can scream. So tempting...
I had turbo s and gt3 rs, 2011 rs superb not a fan of turbo s, would rather have F8 currently or 720s any day over any 911 turbo. Boring car
Glad your okay got totaled by a drunk driver in cayenne diesel the car saved my life so I should not harsh Porsche
Exactly. It's a technical marvel what the 911 can do but it's so bland. Like I said at $150k I'd do it. Not at $250k. I'd take 488/F8/720S any day over the 911. Thanks! Back pains were there for a few weeks but just about gone now. I had more abdominal pain after the impact from the air bag and then the sore back came thereafter. Impressive there was zero damage to the interior other than the airbags tearing up their respective interior components (dash & wheel).
100% not getting an F8 for that. My point was that at 250k the 911 is not worth it and was agreeing that the F8/488/720S all three are more engaging cars. The 720S I got for around that and a 488 coupe is attainable at that amount.
Well someone bought it for roughly $100,000 before fees. Friend sent me link to local guy who does these types of builds. Very beginning of the video there it is.... First 15 seconds...
Glad you’re ok I had a F12. Great car. Nothing else quite like it. Did you look at 812s? Different price point but you might have gone that route. That said the 720 spider is an amazing ride that I almost bought new but don’t feel like burning 100k in the altar of depreciation. Great sound great steering and acceleration. For me the low position in the tub was awkward but when they go sub 200k I’ll think about them again. Drive it well. We’re lucky to be able to pivot and have different experiences with this incredible machines. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry to hear , F12 is a beast of a good car. Glad you are well, Please enjoy the McLaren (been eyeing those too lately, think the styling is modern) and have a better 2024
I drove a friend's 812. Not looking to spend $400k+ on a car and too similar to me. I've always wanted the 720S and the opportunity came knocking. Great spec, great price, warranty, and I bit the bullet. Month later and 1,000mi in the active aero the way it can take corners is simply mind bending. Nothing I owned before can handle the way this thing does. Agree 10000% would never buy one new. Sticker on mine was $385k but paid well under that. I actually paid more for the F12 last year lol.
