Yes. It could and probably is true. That would explain why it’s as fast as a SF90 while only being 400lbs lighter.

All i know is that i never thought a car could have too much power on street. I just can't step on the throttle more than 2 cm 99% of the time in regular driving

Okay, I watched it again at 1.5x speed...
In essence, these guys bought this car used to prep it. PPF exterior first and windhield protect as well. Then they put it on this dyno to figure out a base HP and torque numbers. They found a way to attach it without removing the rear diffuser. They made one pass and the numbers were quite high so they did a second pass to confirm. The lines were nicely close together and they feel confident as this is also what they found on various Mc Larens with final output quite a bit superior to manufacturer claims.
Once this was done they seem to say that Novitec does not have much to bring as 900hp is what Novitec said they could bring with their mods. So they end by saying that one mod that would be nice is a different rear exhaust (from Novitec) or from Akrapovic once ready. Otherwise they say the car could be lowered or slightly bigger rims but felt uneasy as this car with so much power should no be modified lightly without risking bad behaviors at high speed.
I make no claim to trust what they say or their results but they seem somewhat knowledgeable and could not have cared less if the results were different.
    That's it. Hope it helps...

And if you meant just the graphs, it shows that the 296 peak HPs are about 900 at 6'000 rpms and do not go much higher after that. Same with torque, it peaks at 6'000 rpms and go down after that. HP scale on the left and torque scale on the right. Rpms at the bottom. Dark lines are the first try and red lines represent the second pass.
    That's it...

Interesting to see - my guess it that the variance has to do with how the electric motor force is actually delivered compared to the paper math. So the electric might actually be around 230hp to the wheels?

    Link to the video?
