It really is more than the sum of its parts. Kind of like how the special Porsche models are. It really and truly feels like a completely different vehicle. There are two must mods for me are the banks pedal monster and the sot hot headliner. The banks gets rid of the annoying throttle lag and can be programmed to how you like it. Best $300 I’ve spent on it. The sot headliner really finishes off the interior of the jeep while also providing better sound and thermal insulation. My third best mod would be the Hellwig rear sway bar. Really tightens up the suspension. Congrats on your purchase I am sure you will love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Arrived today. Yes it is amazing. A huge improvement that surprised me. Some disparage the red seats, but they are fine and my wife loves them! Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
You’ll love us when you start it up for the first time. It will make you giggle like a school boy. And you find yourself grabbing the keys every time you leave the house. I sure hope you ordered it with the Sky One-Touch Power Top. Especially in Phoenix, that is MUST HAVE option.
Other than the engine, the power top is the best option. I know if I had the hard top that I would never take them off….with the power top, I pull that sucker back a couple of times a week.
While that doesn’t make any sense, I know they held back options last year on the diesel and 392 for the special editions to make them look “special” so they are not above such shenanigans.
Might want to check a couple other dealers, or maybe even a couple of Jeep specific online forums. As we know, “on constraint” is not the same as “discontinued”. Maybe even consider a super low mileage used example. That option is simply too important to give up on.
I posted about the special roof on the Jeep forum. Seems the consensus is that the availability is somewhat intermittent, but not permanently unavailable. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/sky-one-touch-power-top-availability.126592/#post-2648314
While the SOT is available on the over priced final edition, ordering has been discontinued for the regular 392. I haven’t even had mine for a year, pricing between mine and the final edition is over $20,000 different.
Regular 392 is done? I’ll head back to the Jeep dealership tomorrow and check again on the SOT. They already said they want 5-10k over msrp for the final edition.
There is a Final Edition? I don’t see that on the website. Edit- I see where the 2023 had multiple options now included in the 2024 Rubicon. Is that what you’re talking about? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Ron, just pick up a 24' that's in a lot, there's a bunch out there. You can probably get ine at invoice.
Just announced this week, and the Jeep website is always slow. I'm talking about everything, the 2024 refresh had nothing I wanted, and MANY things I hated (Renegade grill, RED seats, the large awkward screen, the red (instead of the cool bronze) trim).
