I don’t have dealer sales data for Japan, but as a matter of anecdotal evidence, the second-hand market only has had 2 or 3 812 GTS units available for sale for the longest time, making the 812 GTS one of the rarest Ferraris available on the secondary market in Japan, going well above sticker price. For comparison, there are currently 37 units of 812 SF on the market, 22 units of SF90 Stradale. Even 9 units of Pista Spiders can be had right now.

From memory, speaking to the main Ferrari dealership in Tokyo, they guesstimated about 300 orders for 812 GTS for all of Japan.

On the flip side, by Ferrari standards Roma is a proper hit. Interesting how for certain models the Ferrarichat sample set is not a good indicator.

When I chat with Ferrari owners at various car gatherings I would be willing to bet ~ 8 out of 10 do not have an FChat account.

I believe your 20% figure for "brand enthusiasts" is probably pretty accurate. In general enthusiasts generate momentum for a brand or product, but you can't build a brand around them. Ferrari is very good at balancing the wants of different customer groups.

Interesting that both Roma and SF90 are clearly sales hits but are significantly under represented on this forum.

This forum is mainly purists and enthusiasts I know many F buyers who don’t know what DSG or naturally aspirated is all about. They just want an F.

World should be 5500-6000 that means more GTS than SF
    See post#89 min. 1500 a year (production run 2020-2024)

I don’t think we will know the real number. But your number does not seem possible. It will be less than SF, but how much who knows.

They are still building them, there's no end in site. Wackiest **** ever. Blame COVID or whatever but it doesn't make sense.

It's pretty simple, they built GTS as long as a customer wanted one.

Wow that is a long wait…I believe my 812 gts was a cancel order from someone else.

I got allocation and deposit in May 23’, locked in the build in June, had a VIN in August, been stage 90 for a month or 2 also.

Wonder when I’ll see it. Lol I’ve got no right to be ancy compared to you but I am. I can’t help it lol.

Thanks. I’m pumped up. I guess it’ll probably be rolling out of the PPF shop about the start of driving season. Not bad timing.

And this should be a hint that there will be more GTS than SF at the end.

Not really how the math adds up…. They have been delayed and taking longer. The SF had more productions years.
    Anyway, happy 2024.

Ah, so we must have had maths at different schools.
SF production was end of 2017 until August 2020 and
GTS production started beginning 2020 and she is still in production for the next months, demand was higher as well.

    Time will tell, happy 2024!

there will be more 812 variants than the F12 because of the GTS thus making the F12 more rare. estimated worldwide production of the F12 was less than 5000 and in North America less than 1500 units. feel special yet?
