SF 90 XX

woah that is a big visual difference on my monitor. i would have freaked out if i didnt know what the actual paint color looked like irl first and it came looking like that.

 

It is interesting reading some of these choices with people discussing the cars overall aggressiveness. i went back and forth a bit with the tm "giallo libano" livery but it was causing a lot of issues with some other elements i wanted constantly being removed (especially the yellow wheel rim thing and the wheel blip on the rear wing)

on my 458 speciale, one thing we'd done was the 'stripe delete' -- i dont think i ahve seen any other 458 speciale's without a stripe. in fact, that car has won several awards for it's distinctiveness of spec, so i ended up minifying this one a bit -- removing the door number, for example. yes, that's right. given my sf90 is bianco italia (with crema interior), it's a bright car. i went back to my purple theme this time, which should give also a nice contrast between the two. it also felt weird to NOT select the carbon wheels (which my standard sf90 has, and they're awesome, but it didnt look so good to me here)

we submitted the build back in november, but i still only see a boring 'waiting list' thing in the ferrari app. oh well. it'll get here some day!

Now that’s a wild spec…love it!

 

That one is among my favorite SP3 specs…especially in direct sunlight. I’ll have to check on the RL specs and what it costs.

 

RL has some purple in the color and lacks the orange highlights of Rosso Magma. The clarity and purity of the color is quite striking. However beware of the TOPAZ treatment that can make almost any gloss paint color dazzle...

 

Was just told Rosso Libano is three layer and currently $33K, but set to go up in price with other paint next month.

Does anyone know, if all Sf90 XX models are sold or are people still being offered an allocation?

 

I'm sure most of us have already been told that they are sold out. I've always heard from people high up in the brand, always cars you can find depending on what you're willing to pay...

Beautiful! I’ve never seen that paint in person, any favorite photos of it on your SF90 Spider?

 

My spider due any day is Bianco Cervino and Puro is Bianco Italia.
I wanted something rare with metallic or pearl as I started the spec with gold wheels.
Atelier is really good at what they do and there are a lot of items that are very tempting - XX has so much going on I tired to tone it down.

I can see them now, very bold spec, I love it, it’s a special car and it demands a crazy spec.

 

Mille miglia is very metallic and really pops. I used that color on the livery of one of my cars. Congrats.

I like that you were able to use the XX wheels with an interesting color.

What was your experience like with the Atelier team? Did you know what you wanted going in to the appointment?

We almost ran out of time in my session given how lost I was on exterior colors at the start.

 

Not yet. Car is in production. The pista spider shown here doesn’t look like it’s Mille miglia. It looks more Bianco Fuji or Italia.
