I’m sure the GTC is possibly lowered. It’s just not what I would consider “slammed.”
How do you define stance? To me, it encompasses wheels and tire size (and most importantly the ratio of one to another), the alignment, and the ride height. I think if you surveyed most 348 owners with bigger wheels a vast majority of them did not adjust the ride height nor the alignment. Maybe a slight lowering on the factory coils, but definitely not aftermarket springs. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
348 & 355 share enough body similarities to share the same stance. Ferrari finally figured out “stance” with the 348 GTC and transferred that over to the 355. I would start from there, not the 17’s and smaller tires 348’s came with initially unless you are keeping the wheels stock.
According to the parts diagrams the GTC has the same shocks/springs as the Spider, GTB, GTS and even the Challenge (I think).
I also didn’t chime in to bust your balls. I only chimed because you said you agreed with Ferrarium’s take, but didn’t know how to fix it. I offered a solution. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My balls don’t feel busted and I really, really appreciate the engagement. I’m just trying to challenge your conclusions to try to get to the truth (or confirm them). Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I think If my car was that low it would look just as good. I really don’t think it’s a 5mm difference in sidewall. I really think it’s ride height. Maybe someone else will chime in. I appreciate your take tho! I could be wrong.
It’s not just wheel gap. It’s meatier looking rear tires as well. Also, not everyone wants to lower a body just to close a gap.
Yes, I could “slam” it but my mechanic says the factory springs are only so strong and any lower will cause it to bottom out. That’s why I wonder if the GTC had stiffer springs even tho the parts diagram says no. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I think it’s more about the ratio of wheel width to tire width. This car has excellent stance and the seller said it wasn’t lowered. AND the sidewalls are thinner than mine. What he does have is tires that are significantly wider than the wheels. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-ferrari-348-spider-9/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Added beefier 235/285 tires. Not sure it makes much difference visually, honestly. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

It does to me - looks better with those tires, though still a little high. GTC was lighter than a standard 348, so probably didn't need stiffer springs on top of that. I've never heard of the concern with bottoming the shocks, that's a first but I suppose could be true - though lots of 348 owners have lowered their cars without issue. It doesn't need lowered much - .5" in the rear so the gap at the top isn't a lot bigger than the front and rear of the tire. Maybe just .25" in the front.

Definity much better in my opinion, especially the rear. The stance is good and the rear gap is great. I would lower the front a tad mainly due to lift at higher speeds, but 1/4 inch lower and it would would balance it a tad better too boot.
I fitted a set of 19" Bola B10 and am happy with how they turned out. 265/35/19 on the rear. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
