A friend if mine is 6' 4" about 260 and fits into mine with race seats. He doesn't fit as well as I do but he could easily get in and out and drive without issue. I think what matters is also your shape, i.e. longer legs or torso. It would be ideal try for yourself to be sure.

Yes maybe that's the big difference, I think as my legs are longer I get back pain and find it very uncomfortable if I do not have enough space, I sold the 458 due to not wanting to dive due to a lack of space. I did 6 hours straight in the SF and just had a little bit of discomfort in one hip but nothing else

Had F12. Loved. A bit more drama and sound
812 SF 2018. Light years more advanced than the F12 but respectfully different and perhaps more tame able at low speeds and well suited to a dinner out with the wife. The honest answer would be a step forward from the F12 but the Sicile nature at low speeds lulls some into a false sense of safety whereas one must respect the 812 SF/GTS at all times.

The GTS is a better experience as most have said trading some exhaust noise for the drama of open air.

I miss my SF but I love my GTS. The SF is the car to drive but the GTS is the one to own.

I also had an F12 which I enjoyed and quite frankly that car is beautiful. I now have a GTS which to me is a keeper unless Ferrari does something better so we shall see.

I am really hoping the F167 is a ugly hybrid! Then our GTS will be golden.

Completely agree. GTS is a GT car and not a race car. Period.

Nobody is going to electively choose to take a GPF exhaust over non, but my 812SF never sounded as good as my GTS when the roof is down. No comparison.

Here's something to consider: 812 engine consumes oil, excessively. F12 engine does not.

Funny. 5000 miles on my 812SF and never added a drop. Regardless a quart of oil is hardly anything to consider when deciding on
    a 400k purchase.

that is pure conjecture. Unless, there is a documented difference from Ferrari. Could be because 812 has more power if true, but pretty sure it’s not.

Or it could be because the engine is 6.5L V12 that revs to almost 9000k redline. And…..the majority of us owners probably make it sing to the redline often!

Disagree. In all my motoring life a car that burns oil instills lake of confidence in the engine. Likely long before your driving history the pitch from used car salesmen was always that it 'never burned a drop of oil'. Had a friend with the 5.0 Mustang and it went through so much oil that he sold it immediately even though the dealership noted that all of them did it and it was normal.

Never needed to add any oil to our three cars ever. About 10k miles between them. Not sure that thought about 812s using oil is right. At least not in our experience.

The 992 GT3s are using a lot of oil. So do M3s. Not that unusual for high rpm motors.

20k+ miles on my SF , I personally never added oil or had to take it in for that reason.

1k in on the GTS, no oil issues yet.

Went through 140k in my e92 M3, and had to constantly add oil. Never any engine problems.

I 'lower' myself to my Portofino and GTC4Lusso with Pirelli SottoZeros for the winter. The 812 would perform with them too, but the rears would last only a month with all that power. Here in NW Ohio SottoZeros are mandatory, and wonderful!

Oil issues, my 812GTS sprang an oil leak on the top of the intake where the oil powered intake length control operates. The dealer replaced the oil seal and all has been well. Other than that, with well over 260,000 Ferrari driven miles since getting my first California in 2010, I've only added oil once in one of my FF's. They all have been daily drivers.

I have had a 991.2 GT3 and now have a 992 GT3 and a GT4 RS, which are all basically the same engine. Never needed to add much oil to any of them, even with doing lots of track days. Never had an oil light come on yet.

I always make sure the engines are fully warmed up before using any rev's or heavy throttle.

    1. I have had every GT3/GT3 RS 996,997.1 and .2, 991.1 and .2, 992 GT3, 4RS(never really drove it, traded for 992 GT3 RS). But the 992 GT3 takes more oil than any previous generation. About 1 qt per 1Kmiles. I do live at the higher end of the RPM, because they are boring otherwise. The motor is strung out, hence why RS is tapped out power wise. The number of failures is higher than most people suspect also.

Interesting. I did a full oil/filter change on the 992 GT3 after around 800 miles as a running in service. Have done 4200 miles overall now including 5 track days, not needed to top it up yet and it's reading around 20% to 25% down from Max on the display. Car is going in for its first yearly service next week.
