looks like a great deal - and I'm not sure I'd have ever have had the guts to go down the ferrari route if I hadn't watched Sam's videos - really hope the CS is all he's hoped it will be

 

Good price for a RHD car for sure. Most asking prices > 200k GBP (albeit for lower mileage)

Other than a very small amount of corrosion it looks in fair good shape.
There have been some real bargains on collecting cars auction site lately!!!
Of course things could have gone badly for him in buying privately too.
But pleased it worked out ok for him.
It's always funny with what one dealer will say needs doing and another is happy to let it carry on to the following year!!
There really are some bad Ferrari main/specialist's who just like to extract as much money from people as possible!
Even in run of the mill car manufacturers, I have seen some awful examples of dealers trying to get money out of people for work that really doesn't need doing or at least not to the extent that they were suggesting!!

 

There have been some Ferrari bargains on collecting cars indeed, quite recently a white 599 GTB got sold at 50,000 pounds! just a shame UK aint in EU anymore, so the taxes on top of that to bring to EU ruined it kind of, but otherwise I'm sure those cars would be worth more on the auctions... you notice that all UK cars (also LHD ones like the mentioned 599 was) just fetch far less due to being outside of the EU nowadays....

Lets hope he enjoys his CS as much as he did his regular 360!

 

I think the current economic climate and the uncertainty surrounding vehicle futures and low emission zones is having a massive impact on values, but I think if people stay strong and fight these ideas just like the Dutch farmers we will be able to continue driving these beautiful vehicles for a long time yet!!!

 

Very true, in that sence its probably a good step we made here with our new forming government going a bit more to the right, might help for us with our cars, as Geert is no fan of the EV takeover

The whole thing surrounding Dutch farmers is just ridiculous, i've seen a story few days ago (no clue how accurate it is) of a pig farmer being bought out for millions by the government to quit farming and go do something else, only to restart a few km further down, with a even bigger pig farm...
