That would be quite a weight difference compared to the 812 - the car would need to be quite a bit smaller - which, would be nice.

The F167 is smaller than the 812/812 Comp.
Plus I also took the weight of the 812 Comp into process and given it's the last generation I think its possible.

We also know the power won't increase much so a smaller, lighter car with a higher revving engine and updated suspension will be a real performer

I hope you're right - Continental told me that both the coupe and the spider would be launched at the same time - hope that's true also as I don't have much interest in 2 seater coupes.

Those in the know say the opposite. Coupe only at first and to be previewed privately at Miami Grand Prix … just 4 months from now!

Dealer can't guarantee an allocation at this stage as the purchasing criteria is unknown at present although it is "likely" that being an existing V12 owner will be a requirement at least in the early days of F167. They can take an expression of interest and maybe even a small deposit but as with my dealer, my order form for the expression of interest deposit specifically says "allocation is not guaranteed".

Prices likely to continue to go down IMO given the everything bubble is coming to an end (watches, cars etc), but if you're worried about depreciation you're unlikely to ever buy a car so if you want one and can afford it buy one and enjoy.

Hi guys, sorry if this was discussed already (I find it difficult to follow everything you write here).
Do we know yet if the spider variant will still have a hardtop (like the GTS or the 296) or if it will go down the route of the Roma spider with a soft top?

"GTS version will have a hardtop (#4277)"

I'm not sure how to search for comments on here, so I can't see who posted it. But comment #4277 in this thread stated that the GTS will be hardtop according to the latest summary comment a few months back

    EDIT: Found it.

    heard rhe same.
Also makes little sense to present both ar same time, each deserves separate spotlight.
The fact is we haven't seen any mule of gts on the road testing, couple of years away.

It makes sense for owner’s value perspective, if they brought them out together.

They bring the coupe out first everyone wants one.

2 years later, they bring the spider out, everyone wants one, so suddenly the market is flooded with coupes as people want to sell them, all at the same time because they are worried if they keep hold of them, they will lose much more and at this point the prices crash, we have seen this many times.

If they came out at the same time this would not happen so keep the second-hand value higher, people would have no need to trade cars in, untill a new model had come out.

The trouble is if Ferrari did this than they would probably sell less cars or maybe not. :)
They will have made the spider by now, we have just not see it yet.

Question for those in the know:

It was very frustrating to me that Android Auto wasn't even an option on the Roma. Please tell me that it'll be available on F167?!

It is in the Roma Spider and Purosangue, so, chances are quite likely...

Are you suggesting dealers are getting specific info about the car?

Hope the folding hardtop integrates better with the car than the GTS which was very good but still a bit odd from certain angles due to the “nacelle” shape. I do hope they don’t compromise leg and or seat recline as they did on the GTS which is why I ultimately gave it up. In retrospect I might have been more comfortable(at 6’2”)with the thinner racing seats rather than the thicker full electric seats(although I love heated seats for cold weather top down motoring!)

The Portofino M with SMRT (initially an option, then a mandatory option) supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto and works surprisingly well.

The video is on Ferrari instagram and at Ferrari.com - a truely pointless video. If it was meant as a teaser for a boat or something it was pathetic - don’t know why they bothered.

All the comments are saying they are building a boat. One of the quick flashes in the video shows a boat I think.

That flash was a 2024 America's Cup boat
The image you saw of the boat sailing at speed is like this image of ETNZ below

Ferrari will be working with Luna Rossa (Italy)

I have had a gut feeling this was coming for years. Back in the day
Luca di Montezemolo spent most of an AC campaign in Auckland NZ was even on the Boat in those day as they had a Spectator seat.

Sailing the sport of the rich, Ferrari will most likely be a technology partner is my guess.
