I wonder if there's trade-in value on the old unit? Or do you have to pay to dispose of it as well?

The 296 owners should be paying attention to this.

296 owners are TikTok gen, thus have the attention span of an insect.

Then you have to factor in the $7k shipping to send it back. It's enough to drive you to drink a ton of tequila! Oh, wait a minute, this all starting to make sense now :).

Official dealer tells me that price may depend on individual market, USA and Europe not the same, not to mention currency exchange rates.
Either way, 240 K or 200 K or 300 K is basically all the same. Who cares, it's only money.
If you want to play, you have to pay.

my experience with these battery packs is that the 'failure' is actually resolvable.
the battery pack is made up of multiple battery packetss, and each cell has to be within a certain (very precise) voltage of each other.
once one or more of the packets is no longer able to be recharged within this very slim voltage requirement, a cell light goes off.
if the fix from a ferrari perspective is to replace the entire battery pack, then thats what you have to do.....
my suspicion is that IF you are obliged to send the failed pack back to ferrari, they will undo it, determine exactly which packets have failed and substitute new ones, at a minute fraction of the cost of the full battery pack....and then seal it back up, and sell it for the full price again....
basically, if that is the way ferrari does it, they are making money coming and going on this element....

My local dealer had to wait like 6 months for a LaFerrari battery a year or two ago.

Just had ours done for the first time on the car. About 6 months wait. FOC because of warranty which is about £20k per year. Think I’ll be keeping that up!

That car should have had exactly 5,150 miles, after all, it is The Best of Both Worlds, and surely Good Enough.

Based on a quick look at current on line offerings, it doesn't really appear that it went for any premium.

I've heard the color/spec was off-putting to some.

Is there a thread or post on FChat with the production numbers of LaF colors?
