Timelessly elegant.
I thought it would be appropriate to add a picture of my 575. This is the one I showed to the "focus group". Image Unavailable, Please Login
I already posted this picture somewhere else, but I think repeating it is not boring Image Unavailable, Please Login
Image Unavailable, Please Login I cannot think of anything in the 200-300K range that I think is sexier!
Dale, it's only 11.8 inches longer than my F355... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login ...and even with those front scoops, it still looks like a smiling shark... Image Unavailable, Please Login
There was a time when my 550 looked like this here Great White... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login It was still smiling... Image Unavailable, Please Login
The first Ferrari I ever drove was a 355. We were at an investor meeting in Bev Hills (I was in my early 20's just out of JD/MBA school and looking to fund my first venture). This 30 year old "kid" tossed us the keys and said "leave the business plan and go drive my car around for 2 hours" - lol. I remember feeling like it had the longest nose ever and was so paranoid about pulling it out of the driveway and in and out of lots. lol. Fast forward, and the 550 doesn't even seem like an issue at all and we have never scraped it (even as low as it is) in its life!
Saw this at Retromobile today-personally didn’t think the colour combo was the best-but the vendor told me it was sold for 250k euro… The carbon seats and low mileage(5,000kms) obviously helped. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice introduction to an F355! Great story. It's not that the F355's nose is long rather its rake is very abrupt. It's hard to tell where the front bumper is. This video of my F355 challenge at Watkins Glen demonstrates this... NASCAR drivers have the luxury of knowing where their front bumpers are allowing them to bump draft... Imagine doing that at 200mph!
The front was resprayed at 59,000 miles in 2007. It's collecting new road rash now and is on its third left fog light, I was lucky to find one in that color. It's a chameleon the way it changes colors in different lighting... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
