I thought there might have been a 1:18 model of that car. I found this one. Anyone know the history or whereabouts? Image Unavailable, Please Login
The pilot was Gustavo Castro Vallarino. All the photos are here : https://www.facebook.com/groups/396180553867004/search/?q=gustavo castro vallarino And sad end for that Dino... Image Unavailable, Please Login
If this has been mentioned before, I apologize, but there was a yellow 246, based out of BC, Canada (I believe), that I saw being raced on the West Coast in the 1990s. I remember it had fuel starvation issues going into Turns 1-2, and 3A and 3B at SIR. I believe it also may have raced at Portland International, Westwood, and Sears Point, but not sure.
05984 is now for sale https://www.mecum.com/lots/1146204/1973-ferrari-dino-246-gts/?aa_id=695089-0 Will it reach $800k?
No, just because it did what it did? Nobody knows what the story is (was) about. Unless you know of Brock Yates...and still could not care less
Also knock-off’s and front indicates L-series. White it seems. Could be interesting to know the VIN. Best, Peter
