They're NOT 16" fake Cromodoras, they're fake Campys (who knows, maybe the ARE real 16" Campys).

Yes, you're right. I meant Campys. AND I STILL WANT THEM. Did anyone track down info on these wheels?

Correct me if i'm wrong but 16" wheels will mean you will loose an inch in tyre side wall height compared to the original 205/70VR14 Michelin XWX meaning it won't absorb the vibrations and shocks of the road.

My God, after 3 years and we still don't know anything about those 16" Campys? UNBELIEVABLE! What's with you guys getting sidetracked talking about glass targa tops and a less absorbent ride?

What do I have to do to get to the bottom of this Campy 16" mystery?

Offer a reward to find out who made them?

I’m digging up this thread from the past. I’d love to find out more about this Dino and the source of the 16” Campys!

If you go to that original post in this thread...The script is a quote from another thread..
That is not me speaking, although it looks like it is!
I just referred to that other thread as a guide to who might know..

    Check the Americana manhasset thread.

I believe Moto Technique in London made some bigger wheels similar to these - whether these are they though, I don't know. If anyone finds out, please tell us all!

Mototechnique makes a 17” version. Visually too big IMO. Version in the photos is a 16” version.

Ah, I didn't know what size their wheels were. Do you happen to know how much they are?

No idea. I would contact Kevin O’Rourke at Moto Technique. He’s a really nice guy and has always been helpful.
