It is indeed an inspiration of the Daytona for the simplicity and purity of its design, but with the Coca Cola bottle effect of the 288.

It’s interesting to finally start hearing real life, in the flesh visual descriptions….not those coded sentences as we had for the last year. I can’t wait to see the real renderings

Although I'm not a big fan of Daytona (haven't witnessed what that car meant back then), I suppose the mentioned effect will make it much better.

This sounds really exciting to me.

The 365 GTB/4 aka “Daytona” - a very important car in Ferrari history. I think you can look up the reasons why- but- my take on the styling- it really moved the game on from the 50s and 60s themes and into the 1970s wedge design- and they premiered the car in 1968. Just imagine what people thought when they saw it. I think the design was very far ahead of its time.

Looking at it with the eyes of 2024, sure, it’s an older design, it’s like listening to a favorite 1960s rock group, yet, those songs endure.

When I look at the Daytona, I see the perfect proportions, clean lines, yet, a modern ethos, with a human element. Thats just how I see it.

The front looks bland(I actually prefer the 250gto front) but the body shape of the 365 is actually good

Based on earlier information, I suppose this twin glass roof refers to longitudinal windows? Does this mean shorter trunk door as well?

Sorry I have not seen the car, it was just described, it does have vents in the hood similar to a 70's Daytona.

    Speaking of those hood vents...

I just realized that Ferrari had already revisited Daytona theme in 456 GT. I liked that car a lot (more than 550/575/599). But then again, it had also those additional cool design elements, such as long side vents and diffuser wing.

Anyway, I'm starting to understand how cool Daytona must have looked when it was introduced.

F12 has an universally acclaimed design, yet people find its rear end disturbing even though it is essentially just a copy of the theme in front.

For TDF, design team cut the uterus from the back and placed it to grille and people think the problem was fixed.

    Life must have its mysteries...

P.S. For me, both F12 and TDF have their pros and cons, but have to say the sculpture was broken for TDF.

If the car will have simple and more soft lines probably an hypothetical roadster version will have soft top ?

I was told by the individual who has seen the car - the rear of F167 has same design language as Roma rear

It seems that the discussions between the 15 selected dealers were unanimous and were impressed:)
The front end is not unnecessarily aggressive, the profile is fluid and the rear is the strong point of the car. The treatment and widening of the front and rear fenders is modern and different. Imagine 308 gr4 style extensions. Front and rear light signatures do not light up across the entire width...it s enought now:D
