296 GTB / GTS Stripe Options

I have a 296 GTB on order and am considering adding a stripe (not as part of the Assetto Fiorano package).

I was wondering if anyone can share a description or photos of the various stripe options.

I have attached my current configuration with a single stripe (and a pinstripe on each side of the larger center stripe). I know there are other options.

If you do Atelier, they have many variations. I couldn’t imagine wanting anything else.

I think it works amazing on your spec. I'm planning on doing one using vinyl but I admit it doesn't look as good as being painted on. Here's one of my favorite specs with a stripe:

I think I may prefer the single solid stripe (with accompanying pin stripes) because it reminds me of the original Ferrari 250 LM stripe on which the 296 was based though I'm still undecided.

Any further thoughts are greatly appreciated. This decision is harder than I thought it would be. I suppose it's a good problem to have.

Looks great - from the dealer configurator I recall something like 7 or 8 variants of stripes.

Here’s what I ended up with: giallo triplo strato with grigio silverstone and nero momo stripe.

Stunning! I love the stripe you chose.

 

I ended up going with “dreamlines” for my GTS order instead of a traditional stripe. It’s a thin line of paint in a few areas - sorry don’t have pics handy. It’s part of the Atelier program - if you do Atelier, there are a lot of interesting options. They’re absurdly expensive but look very cool and I haven’t seen very many cars with them.
