makes sense, but why would clutch go more quickly using auto mode? I think I know the reason: in auto mode, you are likely shifting gears much more than in manual, which alone is good enough reason to always shift manually if that is the case.
Converted my 599 to gated manual 6 speed precisely for the enhanced experience of rowing the gears , clicking the gates and rev matching with throttle input. Not as fast as the F1 but certainly worlds of fun. Takes me back to when I was young--72 now. To each his own.
Does anyone have any basis to say "auto is harder on transmission?" Also will the higher RPM in paddle tax the engine more? Assume not to redline every shift!
