    To any owners, particularly of a group iv. Can you send me a PM? I’m having my car (18905) restored and occasionally seeing specific photos to understand what changes Michelotto made from one car to the next would be tremendously helpful.

    -18971 driven by Henri Toivonen as #2 on '83 Rally Autodromo di Monza was seen at this year's Tour Auto, driven by Yann Robin.

    -22409 driven by younger brother Harri as #10 on the '83 Rallye di San Marino was seen at Tour Auto last year driven by Jeremy Mennechet.

    -18847 driven by "Lucky" as #2 on '84 Rally Internazionale della Lana has also been seen at Tour Auto and Modena Cento ore Classic rallies in 2017 and 18 respectively, driven by US Ferrari collector Steven Read.

    Due to recent changes at Michelotto and considering the distance between myself and Italy I chose to go in a different direction with the restoration.

    Nice photos
    August 1983 is was delivered new as a Group IV to Lake Forest Sportscars / Mancuso. Probably soon after delivery completely converted to IMSA spec, with lots of modifications.

    For clarification 18905 was completed in July 1983 but wasn’t exported to the USA until December of that year. It was ordered from Michelotto via Chinetti by Cobra racing (owned by A. Glick and B. Scyphers) and delivered to California in January 1984. The car ran GTU spec throughout the ‘84 season and was then sold to Warren Mosler in 1985. Rick Mancuso and others drove the car in GTO and GT2 through the late 80s when Mancuso purchased a share of ownership in the car with Mosler. The car continued to actively race until it was put in storage after the 1998 season.

    (Regarding the TA). There was no real grB in the TA (if I remember correct) and also in the 100 ore were many fakes. The owners often pretend theirs are real or almost real :)….
    Mine is one of the real ones and completely renovated and overhauled at Michelotto, now with Valentino livery. Great cars to drive on Italian roads, passes and gravel but not a car for a circuit.
