I commissioned 20 humidors to my design level.
Using my design patent in Spanish cedar on interior and my artwork of a 200 year old Cuban themed box.
Easily holds 300 cigars.
No humidification device installed at moment.. they can be bought or I can supply.
I sold 17 units back then...and kept 3 for myself.
I own 20 other humidors and dont smoke that much anymore!
Original retail was $4500.00
I had a Polish furniture builder with craftsmen from Poland build them all.
Very high quality standard.
Robert De Niro bought one for his restaurant in Tribeca and was featured in cigar aficionado. AVO bought 3 for his hotel stores in Puerto Rico.

My patent was used in interior and maintains humidity 10 times longer than standard boxes.

this box is perfect with only a few superficial scratches… will rub out.

Boxes were never used yet I kept them semi moisturized..once started..They can stay moisturized without adding water for up to a year..Yep..Thats why I applied for a patent.

My Patent explained.
Up until I designed this, All table top humidors had flat spanish cedar interiors..so for the sake of conversation lets say a standard sized box has 8 cubic ft of exposed spanish cedar within the interior of the box. Spanish cedar is the wood of preference in all humidors due to its moisture resistance as well as the neutral to woodsy taste it imparts to the cigar... favorable in all instances.
By grooving the wood with 1/4 inch cuts, it effectively doubles and then some the exposed spanish cedar surface and absorbs and reflects moisture at a rate triple to the non grooved surface. It maintains a 72% moisture level so much easier than a standard box and most of all, a cigar sitting on the bottom of the box has air circulation to go around it rather than to dry touch the flat wood.
As soon as I got the Patent I was able to license the tech to a company called Cigar Savor..They ran with it for a few years as well as we came up with a spanish cedar adjustable trivet to retro fit into boxes without the grooves...Good fun days I had!..all while Smokin such Puro Finas!

This box is dusty but show the precise quality of interior build.
All Spanish cedar bleeds for years..that is oils come to surface and appear like stains.
Thats where the flavoring comes from.
Upon Sale I will light hand sand interior and vacuum.
Hand sanding is recommended in many humidors before start up as it opens the pores to accept moisture.

If you notice the floor of box has smooth raised sections to suspend cigars so as to allow circulation beneath cigar!

Of the 3 Boxes I held onto, each was a different trim level.
I am keeping the middle level one for myself for now, Just too Gorgeous !
I am offering my top tier box for sale .
This box is complete and ready to roll, and Never used.
It is slightly different trim level.
The first box was matte satin poly on all outside surfaces.
This box is high gloss poly yet can still be brought to a satin finish with a 3M pad.
It also has a number of brass trim parts applied, including brass bumper feet.
This brass has patina'd well.
New Shiny brass does not go with a vintage looking box so any discoloration on brass is an asset.
I have 2 humidification devices and a hygrometer installed, although you may want to switch them for modern.
This box has more going on with it than first box, so price is slightly higher at $1000.00
Shipping is not included. Box weighs close to 35 lbs...It is big and Solid!
I expect Fedex shipping to be close to + or - $170.00 plus box packaging.
When I produced these , They were $2500 a pop, Just to build...Retail was $4500.00 for tier 1 box. The Character these boxes bring to a room is unreplaceable.

BTW...Just noticed by looking at pics..as I might have stated before, My Patent was superior to anything previous!... I have never added humidification water to this box...Take a look at the hygrometer..

It has not been opened in years..but has maintained a safe level with just moisture in wood!!

 

If You Notice..In the front yop lid are 3 spanish 1 oz. coins of pure Plata pura..
The value is at least $50.00 per coin, or a minimum of $150.00 in coins.

 

Proof of concept..The Aerator!

After I licensed my patent to Cigar Savor, we came out with my invention for retrofitting a similar concept to all humidors.
That is to lift the cigar off the flat bottom of older boxes and allow humid air to circulate under cigar. It ran for years and was advertised in most all cigar publications. It made it into most every upscale cigar store worldwide.I made some money but eventually Cigar Savor went belly up and cigar smoking went out of style.

I remember the silk screener who made the print screens also had an issue with it but we went ahead according to caribbean spanish!
